How can I get $250.00 in one week.?

I have a chance at joining a promising business deal that would cost me $250.00 by this Friday. I do not get paid until the 5th and I really can not afford not to join this deal. But I need the money now. Someone suggested asking for donations through PayPal but does that really work? Any other suggestions.
